Section 02

GDPR Compliance

Resource Logistics recruits candidates from the United States, India, and across Europe. Where we process personal information of individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we do so in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

We rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:

  • Performance of a contract — to carry out our obligations under an engagement agreement with a candidate who has been placed or is being placed.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation — where we are required by law to process your information (e.g., employment eligibility checks).
  • Consent — for sending marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the following rights, exercisable free of charge:

  • Right of access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Right to restriction — ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Submit your request by email to info@resource-logistics.com. Please include your full name and sufficient information to identify your records. We will respond within 30 days (extendable by a further 60 days for complex requests).

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request to protect against fraudulent access.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority:

  • United Kingdom: Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk
  • European Union: The data protection authority in the EU member state where you reside, work, or where the alleged infringement occurred.

We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns before you approach a supervisory authority, so please contact us first.

Section 03

Data Protection

Protecting the data entrusted to us by candidates and clients is a core operational responsibility at Resource Logistics. The following measures are in place across our global offices.

ISO-Certified Quality Management

Our quality management system is ISO-certified, requiring documented data-handling procedures, regular internal audits, and defined corrective action processes. This framework governs how personal information is processed, stored, and disposed of across all offices.

E-Verify & Employment Eligibility

As an E-Verify participating employer, we comply with USCIS guidelines for the collection, use, and secure disposal of employment eligibility documents (Form I-9 and supporting identification). Access to these records is restricted to authorised HR personnel only.

Access Controls

Personal information is accessible only to employees and contractors who need it to perform their job functions. Access is controlled through role-based permissions and reviewed periodically. All personnel with access to candidate or client data are required to complete data protection training.

Encryption & Transmission Security

Data in transit between our systems and third parties is protected using TLS encryption. Sensitive personal data (including identity documents) is stored using industry-standard encryption at rest.

Third-Party Vendor Due Diligence

All third-party vendors that process personal data on our behalf are required to execute data processing agreements that obligate them to maintain confidentiality, implement appropriate security measures, and process data only on our instructions.

Incident Response

We maintain an incident response plan for data breaches. In the event of a breach likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant supervisory authorities within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Reporting a Concern

If you have a concern about the security of your personal information, please contact us at info@resource-logistics.com so we can investigate and respond promptly.
